1. Overview
These Terms of Service govern your use of Upcademy's online education platform. By enrolling in a class, subscribing to our services, or accessing our website, you agree to comply with these terms.
2. Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy
Due to high demand, rescheduling is subject to availability and is not guaranteed. Please let us know about scheduling changes as early as possible.
Rescheduling fee: Classes can be rescheduled free of charge if done at least 12 hours before the scheduled time. Reschedules requested after 12 hours will be charged a $5 rescheduling fee per class to the payment method on your account once the request is processed.
Teacher cancellations: If a teacher cancels a class, the class will be rescheduled at no extra cost.
3. Refund Policy
All payments are final. We do not offer refunds for missed classes, cancellations, or unused subscription periods.
4. Subscription & Expiry Policy
Non-rolling classes: Unused classes cannot carry over to the next billing cycle.
Recurring payments: Subscriptions are billed automatically, and payments are due on the scheduled renewal date. It is the user's responsibility to cancel before the next billing cycle if they do not wish to continue.
5. Conduct & Behaviour
Parent questions: Parents may not interrupt the class to ask teachers questions. For any inquiries, parents must contact customer support directly.
Respectful interaction: All students and parents must engage with teachers and staff respectfully.
Disruptive behaviour: If a student or parent is disruptive in class, Upcademy reserves the right to remove them from the class.
6. Fair Usage & Responsibilities
One account per family: Each account is for personal family use only and should not be shared with others.
Accurate information: Users must provide accurate contact and payment details.
Parental supervision: Parents are responsible for ensuring a safe and quiet learning environment for their children.
7. Payment & Billing
Accepted payments: We accept major credit/debit cards and digital wallets. We do not accept bank transfers.
Failed payments: If a payment fails, access to classes may be restricted until payment is received.
Taxes & fees: Any applicable taxes or processing fees are the responsibility of the customer.
8. Technical Issues & Access
Stable internet required: Users must ensure they have a stable internet connection for classes.
No liability for downtime: We strive for high platform availability but are not responsible for unexpected downtime.

9. Modifications to Terms
Upcademy reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be communicated via email or posted on our website. Continued use of our services after modifications constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
